The Neck lift uses a similar technique to the Face Lift by realigning the underlying neck muscles to restore a more youthful looking jaw.

Patients often come to us and have excellent facial tissue and tone; however the skin under the chin and neck has become less elastic. The jaw line has lost its sharp shape, and this can leave people looking older than they are.

Neck Lift Surgery

Patients best suited to this procedure are usually aged between 45-65 years, however, the neck lift is often combined with other procedures and so the spectrum can be broader. The most popular combination of neck lift with other surgery is a face and neck lift, and also neck liposuction.

Our Expert Neck Plastic Surgeon has used his years of experience to further develop the techniques so that the bruising, swelling are minimal and neck lift recovery period is comfortable.

Twilight Sedation and Neck Lift Recovery

The Neck lift at Castlefield Clinic is carried out under Twilight Sedation (local anaesthetic with sedation), which minimises the risks normally associated with a general anaesthetic. The technique of anaesthesia also means that there is less bruising and a quicker necklift recovery time with no need for an over-night stay.

During your neck lift Recovery period, you will be provided with detailed after care to ensure everything runs smoothly. You should expect to be back to work after 7 days, but can resume limited daily activities within 3 or 4 days. Our expert team of nurses and doctors will guide you through the recovery period.
