How does it work?

We use pulse light to remove hair. First a cool gel is applied, then a hand-held probe is applied to the skin that delivers the pulse light and disables hundred of hair follicles simultaneously. The hair in the treated area falls out within a week or two.

Will I require repeat treatments?

Yes. We will put you on a course of treatments to alleviate the problem, but we will make you fully aware of this before you have your first treatment.

Does the treatment hurt?

There can sometimes be a mild sting when the pulse light is delivered, but this only lasts a very short time.

Are results permanent?

We are deactivating the hair follicles by delivering a concentrated pulse of light, and so the hair follicles will not be able to produce any hair. So once a full course has been completed, and no further top-up treatments are required, the results are permanent.
