The S-Lift is a type of face lift that creates a more natural and youthful looking appearance. Using newly developed techniques our Facial Plastic Surgeon performs a mini face lift that causes minimal tissue trauma. The Mini facelift (S-Lift) operation lifts the underlying muscles that are causing the sag rather than just pulling the skin tight, giving natural facelift results.

Face Lift Surgery

The S-Lift method of performing the face lift surgery gives a more natural looking result with a smaller associated scar. The effect is that our patients are more satisfied with the facial surgery results.

With the Mini Face Lift, the skin is not separated from the deeper facial tissue and the entire lower face is lifted as a unit along with the muscles giving the more natural youthful muscle tone back to the patient. This facelift technique results in less bruising, swelling, and generally, a more comfortable facial surgery recovery period.

Facial Surgery Cost and Information

Patients who have the S-Lift typically range from 40-65 and results can last longer than a conventional face lift by a number of years, thereby reducing the need to return for further face lift surgery.

At the end of the facial surgery consultation, you will be given a detailed information pack with all the relevant details and more importantly, our Client Coordinator will give you the cost of the facial surgery, based upon the discussion between you and our facial Cosmetic Surgeon.

Twilight Sedation and Face Lift Recovery

The S-Lift (face lift) at Castlefield Clinic is carried out under Twilight Sedation (local anaesthetic with sedation), which minimises the risks normally associated with a general anaesthetic. The technique of anaesthesia also means that there is less bruising and a quicker facial recovery period with no need for an over night stay.

During the Facial Surgery Recovery period, you will be provided with detailed aftercare to ensure everything runs smoothly. You should expect to be back to work after 7 days, but can resume limited daily activities within 3 or 4 days. Our expert team of nurses and doctors will guide you through the recovery period.
