At Castlefield Clinic, our experienced Plastic Surgeon can perform a plethora of procedures to correct many problems with the ears.

During the period of his 35 years in practice, he has corrected protruding ears, performed ear reduction surgery, corrected ear lobes, and performed ear reshaping.

Ear Surgery

The techniques employed by our Plastic Surgeon ensure there is minimal bruising and more importantly minimal scarring. This means the results are more pleasing aesthetically, and by performing the surgery using minimally invasive techniques means that any scarring is restricted to creases within the ear, and hence less visible.

The techniques also mean that the ear recovery period runs smother, and there is very limited downtime, resulting in being able to resume day-to-day activities sooner rather than later.

Otoplasy surgery is quite a common request in people of all ages. With a comprehensive range of solutions, we are able to tailor the treatment type to the particular request.

Our experienced Plastic Surgeon has performed many of these procedures in the past. Many of our patients would be delighted to speak to you directly about their experiences.

At the end of the otoplasty consultation, you will be given a detailed information pack with all the relevant details and more importantly, our Client Coordinator will give you the cost of otoplasty based upon the discussion between you and our Cosmetic Surgeon.

Twilight Sedation and Otoplasty Recovery

Ear Surgery at Castlefield Clinic is carried out under Twilight Sedation (local anaesthetic with sedation), which minimises the risks normally associated with a general anaesthetic. The technique of anaesthesia also means that there is less bruising and a quicker otoplasty recovery time with no need for an over night stay.

During your Otoplasty Recovery period, you will be provided with detailed after care to ensure everything runs smoothly. You should expect to be back to work after 7 days, but can resume limited daily activities within 3 or 4 days. Our expert team of nurses and doctors will guide you through the recovery period.
