Twilight Sedation and Breast Reduction Recovery

Breast Reduction at Castlefield Clinic is carried out under Twilight Sedation (local anaesthetic with sedation), which minimises the risks normally associated with a general anaesthetic. The technique of anaesthesia also means that there is less bruising and a quicker breast reduction recovery time with no need for an over night stay.

During your Breast Reduction Recovery period, you will be provided with detailed after care to ensure everything runs smoothly. You should expect to be back to work after 7 days, but can resume limited daily activities within 3 or 4 days. Our expert team of nurses and doctors will guide you through the recovery period.
